Prior to becoming Executive Director at the Lancaster Mediation Center I spent many years working as a scientist in specialty labs at both York and Harrisburg hospitals where I developed an expertise in project management and molecular biology. While this is interesting stuff--labs can be very lonely places. I've always believed people are the critical variable that make life interesting. Embracing diversity and craving more opportunities for human interaction I am currently pursuing graduate education in Business Administration and Psychology.
I discovered mediation and the LMC about six years ago. I completed divorce mediation training at the LMC and have been hooked ever since. I am also very pleased to find that other individuals that gravitate to the field of mediation are among the most genuinely interesting and inspiring individuals I've had the pleasure to encounter. I enjoy being part of an organization that offers affordable options to adversarial litigation process and encourages families, neighbors and co-workers to find ways to have those difficult conversations that lead the way to improved communication and peaceful co-existence.
I am thrilled to be serving as Executive Director during a time filled with new opportunities for growth and renewal at the Lancaster Mediation Center. We celebrated our 30th Anniversary of service to the Lancaster community in October. The event was even more memorable due to the unexpected October snow storm. Photos and more information on this event will be available soon.
What an exciting year.......stayed tuned.
